  Northwestern Lee County in central North Carolina...
  Western Chatham County in central North Carolina...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 318 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Goldston, or 7 miles south of Pittsboro, moving
  west at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Goldston around 325 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Cumnock, Harpers Crossroads, and Hasty.
