The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Laurens County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Union County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 845 AM EST.

* At 811 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 12 miles southwest of Union, or 5 miles west of Rose
  Hill State Park, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Union and Buffalo around 820 AM EST.

Other locations impacted by this dangerous thunderstorm include Cross
Keys, Sedalia, and Adamsburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
